About MHMR - Board of Trustees & Executive Staff

MHMR Services for the Concho Valley was established in 1966 and is the Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority for Coke, Concho, Crocket, Irion, Reagan, Tom Green, and Sterling Counties. MHMR operates as a unit of local government, and has a nine member Board of Trustees who is appointed by four sponsoring agencies: Tom Green County, the City of San Angelo, San Angelo ISD, and Angelo State University. 

Board meetings are usually held on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at 1501 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX and are open to the public. To confirm meeting times, call (325) 658-7750.  Correspondence to the Board should be mailed to: 1501 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX 76901.

Human Rights Committee

Charge: The purpose of the Human Rights Committee (HRC) is to:  1) review and approve proposed consumer behavior therapy programs which are highly restrictive, intrusive or use aversive conditioning and which have received the approval of the Behavior Therapy Committee and 2) review and approve rights restrictions or other special limitations for consumers as proposed by the consumer’s interdisciplinary team (IDT).

Risk Management/Safety Committee

Charge: Members represent each program/locations.
